Dubai is a dynamic city that I have always admired. Its vibrant energy and burgeoning food scene make it the perfect location for our Bar des Prés. The location on the 51st floor of the iconic ICD Brookfield Place, with its stunning views of Dubai's landscape, creates an exceptional dining experience.Cyril Lignac
Bar des Prés Dubai is the first venture into the UAE from acclaimed Chef Cyril Lignac. An evolved version of the original restaurants in Paris and London. A cosmopolitan and vibrant concept that combines French know-how and Japanese individuality with Dubai’s energy.
AND TEXTURES
A playful combination of Franco-East Asian creations, the menu showcases exceptional, seasonal ingredients whilst respecting traditional techniques.
Expect dishes such as Crunchy crab & avocado galette with madras and exciting combinations of Native lobster salad, strawberries, elderflower and fresh almond. Enjoy elegant seafood dishes such as Spicy tuna tartare with soy sauce and delicate sushi plates such as the Label Rouge salmon with avocado, jalapeño and sriracha. The menu displays Cyril Lignac’s signature and unique subtlety throughout, even with refined meat dishes such as the Satay fillet steak.
The dessert menu honours Cyril Lignac’s original training as a master pastry chef, whilst celebrating French classics such as Vanilla mille-feuille, pecan nuts, praline Matcha chiffon cake with hot chocolate sauce.
CELLAR
The wine list offers a variety and complexity of vintages and wineries from Burgundy to Bordeaux and beyond. Bar des Prés has one of Dubai’s most accessible ‘by the glass’ menus; an unrivalled selection of quality wines by the glass, with twenty varieties on offer.
COCKTAILS
Our cocktail menu is an eclectic mix of the classic and the contemporary, offering guests the chance to experience drinks inspired by our Bar des Prés counterparts in Paris and Mayfair, London. We’ve also crafted distinctive signature cocktails exclusive to Dubai. Served in a clean, sophisticated, and unfussy manner, our cocktails evolve with the seasons while ensuring timeless classics always remain.
Beyond the double doors of Bar des Prés Dubai lies a richly furnished and charming space, the ideal environment for both lively and intimate conversations over drinks and light bites in the heart of DIFC, with unparalleled views of Dubai’s Jumeirah Mosque, Al Yaqoub Tower and Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
Like its Parisian and Mayfair counterparts, Bar des Prés in Dubai will undoubtedly become a firm favourite amongst the well travelled, ‘in the know’ society set; a favourite drinking and dining spot amongst the local fashion crowd; and the ‘go to’ restaurant for locals and businesses in the DIFC scene.
The restaurant is the perfect place for those looking to perch at the counter whist enjoying drinks and light bites and equally for those looking to sit back, relax and sample delicious dishes for either lunch and dinner with unbeatable views of Dubai.
His story is one of passion born in the south of France. A one-of-a-kind career guided by fortunate encounters, hard work and an irrepressible desire to please.
In 2005, he was spotted by a television producer, and joined the “Oui, Chef!” adventure until he opened his first restaurant. The venue was awarded a star in the Michelin Guide then closed after 15 years to make way for new adventures.
His TV career went from strength to strength with successful shows including Le Meilleur Pâtissier (a French version of The Great British Bake Off) and Tous en Cuisine, which launched during the Spring 2020 lockdown. His entertaining, yet educational approach to food had led him to write many cook books, selling over 4 million copies. These numerous successes have made him France’s best-known chef and a favourite with the French public.
Cyril Lignac unveils his talents as a restaurateur-entrepreneur by opening new restaurants, each with a unique identity. From classic bistro-style restaurants that respect tradition while always staying in tune with the times, to more distinctive, almost couture-style establishments with a local and international flair.
At the same time, he created La Pâtisserie & La Chocolaterie Cyril Lignac with Pastry Chef Benoit Couvrand, offering seasonal entremets, increasingly modern classics, exceptional bread, take-away chocolates, and lovingly addictive sweet bears…
Cyril Lignac has as much fun inventing as he does reinventing, showcasing a classic Parisian repertoire, conscientiously visiting new territories and adding sparkle to those festive evenings that stretch longer into the night. The lettering on the shop fronts, the choice of lighting, the seat fabric, the development of dishes and pastries, and the composition of teams: every factor is taken on board as they all reflect the spirit of the venue in their own way.
A discerning palate paired with an impeccable technique, Cyril Lignac’s cuisine is rich with French culinary heritage crossed with a curiosity for the wealth of foreign cuisines.
